Community Impact

Check back here often for new opportunities to serve!

Grace Baptist Church is committed to being the salt, the light, and the difference in our community through our community partnerships. There are so many opportunities for you to join us!

The Hope Market

The Hope Market is a local “free” grocery store serving families in need in Gardner. This is a GREAT serve opportunity for individuals of all ages. Families and small groups can even serve together!

The Hope Market is open two days a week and needs volunteers to help sack groceries, restock shelves and serve “customers.”

The BackSnack Program

Help us feed children in our city! Through relationships with our school counselors, Grace provides meals for children in our school district who have little to eat on the weekends.

Our Backsnack Ministry is currently on break for the summer. Check back in August to see how you can volunteer or donate.

School Partnerships

We love our schools! We partner with several schools in our community to help serve our students, teachers, and families in our city.

Opportunities to serve include: volunteering for school events, mentoring students, our BackSnack Program, and our annual Christmas Blessing Tree.

To get involved in our school ministries, contact Pastor Brandon at brandonchampagne321@gmail.com.

Joy Closet

Joy Closet is a ministry-based business that seeks to provide clothing and other basic household items at a low cost to those in need.

We provide volunteers the third Saturday of each month, but there are many opportunities to serve!

For more info about serving at Joy Closet, contact Valerie Elkinton at velkinton@gmail.com.

Harvesters

Harvesters is a mobile food distribution ministry. Gardner now has a mass food distribution every month for families in need. Over 100 cars line up to receive food.

They are in need of volunteers to help distribute the food to the families in the parking lot.
