SALT Student Mission Trip

Our SALT Student Ministry is heading to Arlington, Texas July 13th – 19th to work with Mission Arlington! Their week will be filled with various projects and opportunities to serve apartment communities that Mission Arlington has partnered with. One of the biggest events throughout the week will be hosting a Backyard Bible Study (called Rainbow Express) in an apartment community. Historically, our teams have also helped organize school supplies, passed out bedding, delivered meals, provided childcare for Bible studies. 

Age: 6th – 12th graders (24-25 school year)


Cost: $250/person (online payments include a processing fee)

  • All travel, lodging, and meals are included. As well as a day out at 6 Flags!
  • Car snacks and souvenirs are not included in the trip cost.
  • Fundraising opportunities are available!! (See below!)


More details, including a packing list, housing information, and a timeline of the week will be sent out after the registration deadline on June 29th!

Please note there is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting on Tuesday, July 1st at 7:00pm!

Fundraising Opportunities

Students can fundraise up to $100 off their registration cost by serving shifts at The Hope Market, Joy Closet, Harvesters, or Mission Southside.

  • Each shift earns $25 off your registration. Max of 4 shifts per student.
  • Pastor Tyler will have Student Volunteer Hour Slips available for pick up – you will take these with you, fill them out, have them signed by the supervisor of wherever you are serving. These must be returned to Pastor Tyler no later than July 12th!
  • Parents are welcome to work alongside their student, but parents cannot fundraise for their student.
